PDDS Network is committed to protecting your privacy.
We want the people who use our network to have a sense of comfort with regard to privacy of the personal information they share with us. This Privacy Statement summarizes our privacy and information use policies. Our privacy policies may change from time to time, and if they do, any changes will be posted. We will never use any personal information collected on the PDDS Network that will in any way identify our users to others; nor will we sell this information to others, without your consent. At present, we collect no user identifiers at all.
Our Web site does not use "cookies."
Though we do not presently use cookies, we may use them in the future. Cookies are very small files that are stored on your computer and that enable us to recognize your computer each time you return to our site. By using cookies, we can keep track of your preferences, what you have already seen on our site and what you haven't, and any personalization you've done, without requiring you to re-enter a password, or fill out forms. We will not use cookies in any way that would disclose your Personal Information to a third party without your consent.
Other companies may collect various types of information about you.
Other than our own PDDS Network Site, no site on the Web is under our control. PDDS cannot assume any responsibility for any other site's content or practices. We encourage you to read third parties' privacy policies, and to exercise care each time you are asked to provide personal information at a site whose privacy policies you don't know.
Privacy of children.
PDDS believes it is especially important to protect children. We encourage parents and guardians to spend time online with their children to participate in and monitor their Internet activity. All minors should have parental consent before using services or disclosing any personal information online. PDDS adheres to the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, and will not use or disclose personal information from children except in such case as required by law in an investigation to proper authorities. Remember that PDDS has links to other sites on the web. Those sites were chosen with care with regard to safety, however we cannot be sure what happens outside the PDDS site. Credit Card information.
Currently, PDDS Network uses no credit card transactions. In the future, this may become something PDDS may use in collection for Continuing Education Courses or sale of materials. Should this become a future service, we will use a secured link for those transactions and no information will be used to identify our users without their permission. |
